At work I had to start on an ASP.NET application. Having little to no experience with ASP.NET, I was very confused when my server based objects didn’t show up. Figuring (rightly) that there was something wrong with my IIS ASP.NET registration, I found this cool little article about Registering ASP.NET on IIS after installing the .NET Framework. This fixed my problem on both my home computer and my work computer with one simple command.
