Well, wxPython 2.5.1 has finally been released! I was somewhat hesitant to go plopping it on my machine as they continue to migrate the naming and such away from the original scheme. However, much to my relief, my CFCOPY program still ran fine despite the significant change. Among the important new items available in this version — true .PNG support with opacity (alpha-channel) and a new virtual list box that supports elements that include HTML code! Both of these things look excellent. Plus there a few other nifty things I can’t wait to play with. Now, if they would just support variable window opacity I’d be much happier (I know, never satisfied).
